Secondary Disinfection

Synergy LTS

Expandable AOP Secondary Disinfection System

Synergy LTS is an expandable Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) system that combines UV and ozone to deliver powerful secondary disinfection, with the ability to scale as your facility grows.

  • UV and ozone Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP)
  • Increase oxidation capacity without replacing the core system
  • Three models, from 40 to 120 m³/hr
  • Reactor compatible with salt, mineral, calcium and bromide systems

Powerful, Expandable Secondary Disinfection

Synergy LTS is engineered for facilities expecting increased bather load or planning staged upgrades, with commercial-grade components and built-in monitoring.

Commercial-Grade Ozone

Commercial-grade titanium/quartz corona discharge ozone module.

Broad Compatibility

Reactor compatible with salt, mineral, calcium and bromide systems.

Automatic Interlock

Automatic interlock to the UV output.

UV Monitoring

Lamp change indicator, UV monitor and a 4 to 20 mA UV intensity signal.

High-Performance Ballast

UV ballast designed for high performance and reliability.

Remote Start/Stop

Remote start/stop function, plus a single GPO output for an optional ozone booster pump.

How Synergy LTS Works

Using the AOP reaction of UV light and ozone, Synergy LTS generates highly reactive hydroxyl radicals that break down chloramines, destroy organic contaminants and neutralise waterborne pathogens such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium.

As a modular system, Synergy LTS lets operators increase oxidation capacity without replacing the core system, providing long-term flexibility, improved water quality and enhanced indoor air quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP)?

AOP creates hydroxyl radicals, extremely powerful oxidisers that break down harmful contaminants at a molecular level. Compared with chlorine, UV or ozone on their own, AOP delivers fresher, clearer water with fewer chemicals, reduces eye and skin irritation by cutting chloramines and lowers ongoing chemical costs.

How does Synergy LTS expand?

Synergy LTS is modular, so operators can increase oxidation capacity without replacing the core system. It suits facilities expecting increased bather load or planning staged upgrades.

Which Synergy LTS model do I need?

Models are sized by maximum flow rate: LTS 1 for up to 40 m³/hr, LTS 2 for up to 80 m³/hr and LTS 3 for up to 120 m³/hr. Custom specifications are available on request, subject to review.

Is Synergy LTS compatible with salt or mineral pools?

Yes. The reactor is compatible with salt, mineral, calcium and bromide systems.

Can Synergy LTS connect to a BMS or be monitored remotely?

Yes. Upgrade options include BMS integration with fault and status relays and a remote monitoring modem via Waterlink. The system also has a remote start/stop function and a 4 to 20 mA UV intensity signal.

How much space does Synergy LTS need?

The UV chamber measures 1295 mm (L) x 350 mm (W), with 4" flanged water connections. Allow 600 mm height for the ozone injection assembly, which must be mounted on the inlet side of the UV chamber. The power centre measures 800 mm (H) x 600 mm (W) x 300 mm (D).

What are the power requirements?

Synergy LTS runs on 240 VAC, 50 Hz, with a minimum circuit of 20 A including the booster pump. Power consumption is 0.7 to 2.4 kW for 1 to 3 lamps, excluding the booster, and the maximum booster pump is 1 kW.

What upgrade options are available?

Upgrades include BMS integration and fault/status relays, a remote monitoring modem, an automated sleeve wiper system, an ozone booster pump and injection manifold, and an outlet strainer.
