Commercial Pool Chlorinators & Onsite Chlorine Generation

Waterlink Envirogen systems generate chlorine onsite from salt or magnesium and pair it with advanced chemical control in one unit. The result is less liquid chlorine handling, a stable free chlorine level under changing bather loads, and capacity that can grow with your facility.

Onsite Chlorine Generation for Commercial Aquatic Facilities

Generating chlorine onsite reduces the cost, storage and handling of bulk liquid chlorine. Envirogen converts salt or magnesium in the pool water into chlorine, while the built-in controller manages sanitiser and pH from the same panel.

Both systems are built for commercial plant rooms, with flow and thermal protection, programmable sensor inputs and design and integration support from Waterlink’s technical team.

What Sets Envirogen Apart

Generation and control in oneChlorine only, pH or combined control from the same panel, with programmable GPOs and relays for tasks like CO2 dosing and heating control.
Stable free chlorineMultiple set points, timer configurations and sensor or timer based automation avoid over or under-shoot.
Built-in protectionFlow and thermal protection, plus automatic liquid chlorine backup and pH control, subject to dosing pump installation.
Salt or magnesiumCompatible with magnesium salt and traditional sodium salt, with low salinity options that reduce salt costs.

Which System Fits Your Facility?

  • EnvirogenFacilities that need a set generation capacity, from 50 to 750 g/hr per unit, with standard or low salinity models and master or slave linking up to 3 kg/hr.
  • Envirogen LTSFacilities planning staged upgrades or rising bather loads, with 300 to 650 g/hr modules that link up to six units for nearly 4 kg/hr.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between Envirogen and Envirogen LTS?

Envirogen combines a chlorine generator and controller in a single unit, with models from 50 to 750 g/hr. Envirogen LTS is modular, with 300 to 650 g/hr modules that link together, so capacity can be added in stages as bather loads grow.

Can Envirogen run on magnesium?

Yes. Both Envirogen and Envirogen LTS are compatible with magnesium salt and traditional sodium salt.

What salinity do the systems require?

Standard Envirogen models operate at a TDS of 3000 to 3500 ppm, and low salinity models at 1500 to 2000 ppm. Envirogen LTS operates at 2500 to 3500 ppm.

How much chlorine can be generated?

Envirogen units can be configured as master or slave for a production capacity of up to 3 kg/hr. Up to 6 Envirogen LTS units can be linked to generate nearly 4 kg/hr.

Can the systems provide a liquid chlorine backup?

Yes. Both systems support automatic liquid chlorine backup and automatic pH control, subject to dosing pump installation.

Can Envirogen LTS work with an existing dosing controller?

Yes. Envirogen LTS can be controlled by most dosing systems, or fitted with an additional probe kit for self-sufficient, autonomous water chemistry control.

Can alarms and faults be reported remotely?

Yes. When connected to the internet, Envirogen can diagnose and report alarms or faults, and remote monitoring is available as an upgrade on both systems.

Does Waterlink help with system design and integration?

Yes. Both systems suit nearly all commercial aquatic applications, and Waterlink’s technical team provides design and integration support for each installation.
